Following the deadly attack in Ayukuba in the South West region, Joseph Dion Ngute has tweeted his condolences.

For the people of the villages of Ayukaba and Eyangchang in the South West Region, near the Nigerian border, it has been a tearful weekend. The local brigade commander and four other soldiers were patrolling the Mamfe-Ekok road, according to the government.

They were ambushed by 30 strong separatist fighters. Five deaths were recorded that is the brigade commander and his counterparts.
