Elections Cameroon, through its General Manager, last week launched a new campaign to revise the electoral list for the 2024 year.

On Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Mokolo police station in Yaounde, the General Manager of Elections Cameroon (Elecam) Dr Érik Essoussè, officially launched the massive campaign to revise the 2024 electoral roll. The day was marked by the mobile caravans for the biometric registration of voters in the seven sub divisions of the Mfoundi division.
For ELECAM, now, more than ever, is the time to encourage late voters throughout the country to exercise their civic duty in complete freedom. Especially as the next elections are just around the corner. MP Cabral Libii welcomed the action and urged Cameroonians to register : “Everyone to Elecam offices. With your National Identity Card or its receipt, it takes 15 minutes and it is free. You will be given a coupon with which you can vote at the polling station indicated on the coupon, even if your voter card does not come out”,
Let’s recall that from January 1 to August 31, 2023, ELECAMregistered 368,918 new voters, including 229,896 men, 138,223 women, 255,742 young people (160,960 men and 94,782 women), 444 people with disabilities (294 men and 150 women). These figures were presented September 01 2023.
