To bring about qualitative change in Cameroon, Father Ludovic Lado has just launched the “Servir” platform.

Ludovic Lado, a Jesuit priest, has just launched his own political movement. His aim is the mobilisation of “the Christian electorate for qualitative change in Cameroon”, on the basis of the country’s Christian majority. According to the priest, 65-70% of Cameroonians are Christians, but “not Christian enough”. They are supposed to be “the salt of the earth”, “the light of the world”, but they are not Christian enough. If they were, the country would not be “plunged into the darkness of bad governance, of uncivilised behaviour, of injustice and of mediocrity”.

In order to reverse this trend, the “Servir” movement intends to work for the mobilisation of all Christians, of all denominations, to bring about a positive change. This change would mark the beginning of the transformation of the country for the better. The movement focuses on three areas to achieve its goals under the slogan “to serve and not to be served”. First, to encourage Cameroonians to register to vote in 2024. Secondly, to vote in the various elections scheduled for 2025. Finally, to pray for leaders who have the fear of God.
