The decision came out of the general assembly of driving school promoters since December.

Reports are numerous, reminded Category B driving applicants that learning fees have changed. The General Assembly of driving school promoters in the Central Region was held on December 22, 2022 in Yaounde, under the theme: “Driving schools face the challenges of professionalization.

“Organizing this General Assembly (G.A) today is to look us in the face, talk to us in the eyes and wash the dirty laundry in family; to make everyone understand the merits of a good training, that is to say, the payment of fees of 250,000 CFA francs for two months; the respect of 40 hours of theoretical courses and 20 hours of practical courses. Driving schools have decided to come out of the dark.

Cameroonians should no longer be deceived. For a training course costing 50 or 60,000 CFA francs, we cannot really give you even a quarter of the time required. This General Assembly has set the record straight. We are thinking about traffic accidents and road incivism that is rampant in our cities,” said Serge Yoba, a driving school promoter.
