The film directed by Franck Thierry Léa was screened last 27 July at the National Museum in Yaoundé.

A cultural press village. The event took place at the National Museum in Yaoundé. Organised within the framework of the Grand prix francophile des médias, it brought together all those involved in culture and media professionals who have chosen to specialise in cultural issues.
In addition to workshops on the theme of the cultural press, film screenings were on the programme. Last Thursday 27 July, for example, the red carpet was rolled out for the film L’Accord. The movie tells the story of a young girl named Flora. She lives in a dangerous district. An ordinary day turns into hell for her. Flora is trapped by her boyfriend, Cédric, who drugs and rapes her, causing a scandal. To cover up the affair, Cédric’s parents offer Flora’s parents a large sum of money in exchange for her silence. That’s what makes it so thrilling to watch them negotiate.
The film, which caused a sensation when it was released last year, was screened in the presence of its director, Franck Thierry Léa. The scriptwriter and producer has made a number of films, including Mes vampires (selected for five international festivals, including the MISS ME BINGA 2016 festival in Yaoundé), Point de vue, which won the Best Screenplay Award in 2016, organised jointly by the Ecrans Noirs Festival in Yaoundé, GIZ and KFW, two technical institutions of German cooperation in Cameroon, on the theme of “Gender in Action”.
