Six inter-urban bus agencies have been warned to comply to comply to public transport norms or be sanctioned by the Ministry of Transport.

The agencies concerned are Charité Voyages, Elégance du Noun, Alliance Voyages, Super Grand Mifi Plus Voyages, Fako Travelers et Butrans Voyages.

In a communiqué signed by the Minister of Transport Jean Ernest Massena Ngale Bibehe, these agencies are recalcitrant and have failed to meet up to standards despite several calls to order.

The call to order from the Minister of Transport comes after thorough investigation of 32 transport agencies in August 2017 to track down clandestine transport agencies.

Nine months on, 26 agencies complied to the regulations while six others have still to obtain their licences in conformity to the rules.

They have just been given fifteen days to comply or be suspended indefinitely.
