The Minister of Transport Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe has lifted the ban on three inter urban transport agencies.
In a communiqué signed on Thursday, the Minister lifted the ban was lifeted on Elegance du Noun, Butrans voyages and Super Grand Mifi plus voyages after the three companies regularized their respective administrative situations as prescribed by the ministry.
However, the Minister reiterated that the other three transport agencies Charité voyages, Alliance voyages and Fako Travelers who did not deem it necessary to comply with the regulation in force remain suspended.
It should be recalled that the transport minister had signed a release on July 10 banning these agencies for not complying with administrative procedures in their operations.
This followed an investigation carried out on several inter-urban transport agencies after road accidents that claim the lives of several persons on the Bafoussam-Yaounde highway as well and Douala-Yaounde highway.
