The Court of Appeal in the South West Region now has a new magistrate following a Presidential decree signed on Monday.

Mbia Emmanuel was appointed on Monday by Presidential decree to replace Essombe Emile who was recently appointed amongst the 11 members of the Constitutional Council.

Before his appointment, Mbia Emmanuel was a second class magistrate at the Supreme Court.

Essombe Emile on his part has already taken his seat at the Constitutional Council where they recently examined petitions against senatorial lists in some regions of the country.

However, no list was rejected as the Council ruled against all the petitions.
