The National Oil Refining Company, SONARA, has announced that the production units of the oil refinery will be temporally shut down for three months.

According to a press release, signed by SONARA’s General Manager, Ibrahim Talba Malla, the shut down is aimed at carry out maintenance works  which will help the company realise its vast modernisation plans.

The release further states that measures have been taken to continuously supply the market during this non-production period.

Sonara’s temporary closure which started on April 15, will run till July, 2018.
