The residence of Cameroon’s People Party’s President, Kah Walla is presently being surrounded by soldiers.
Eyewitness account reveal the soldiers have used a pick-up truck to block her gate. “They’re armed with machine guns and wearing riot gear”.
According to reports, the soldiers are there to ensure government’s ban in the bid to prevent Kah Walla’s planned protest which was billed for today, October 21.
It would be recalled that Kah Walla and SDF’s Nintcheu were planning a protest march in Douala against what they termed massive fraud in the just ended presidential election in Cameroon.
A similar protest has been announced for Monday, at the Yaounde Conference centre where the Constitutional Council will be proclaiming official results of the October 7th presidential election.
Several protest marches have equally taken place in Germany, America and Burkina Faso, with Cameroonians protesting against what they call unfair ruling of Post-electoral petitions by the Constitutional Council. Many of them, urged incumbent Paul Biya to step down.
