Slain Buea priest to be burried on August 11

The former Catholic Education Secretary who was killed last week in Muyuka, South West Region of Cameroon will be buried on August 11.

The funeral programme for the late Reverend Father Alexander Nougi Sob, parish priest of the Sacred Heart Parish, Bomaka-Buea, was released at the weekend by the Vicar General of the Buea diocese, Rev Fr. Asek Bernard.

According to the programme, requiem masses will be organised in parishes across the Diocese in honour of the fallen priest on Wednesday August 08.

These will be followed by another requiem mass the next day at the Regina Pacis Cathedral, Soppo, at 3:00pm, celebrated by the Vicar General.

His mortal remains will be removed from the mortuary of the Buea Regional Hospital on Friday morning and taken to the Regina Pacis Ordination Ground for a requiem  mass that will be celebrated by His Lordship, Mgr Immanuel Bushu, Bishop of Buea before burial the next day.
