John Fru Ndi, Chairman of Cameroon’s main opposition party, SDF, has warned against social media bullies who criticise the party’s stance on federation.

The SDF Chairman was speaking Saturday, August 5 during an ordinary session of the National Executive Council, NEC, meeting in Bamenda.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman advised people to cease from taking instructions from people in the Diaspora who have never been on the field of war.

The meeting was equally an opportunity for the party to analyse school resumption possibilities in the crisis stricken regions.

In the end, the party stated that schools can only resume if the issues raised by the teachers, lawyers and others who have fled the country as a result of the crisis are granted.

To the party executives, Cameroon’s Head of State has failed in his responsibly to assure school resumption in English speaking regions. “We the SDF believe that education is life. Parents, teachers and students are ready for a new academic year…but for schools to resume, parents jailed at prisons around the country as a fallout of the crisis should be released so they can raise school fees for their children…”
