Adolphe Lele L’Afrique Governor of the North West region in Cameroon, says sanctions awaits the soldier who videotaped the students  of Sacred Heart college, Mankon.

The Governor in a press release made public Wednesday, described the incident as an isolated case and said the soldier who videotaped the students and proceeded to share on social media has been identified and will be sanction. The video reportedly taken at sacred heart college Mankon demonstrates students displaying very sexually explicit dancing in front of a soldier  who was clearly enjoying the move with a gun in his hand.

Cameroonians went wild with outrage after the video went viral, with many questioning why children should be portrayed as such.

For his part, Governor Adolphe Lele L’Afrique said the incident which he described as an isolated case does not reflect the ideals of Cameroon security forces who are more than ever before determined to protect the integrity of the state. He urged soldiers to continue playing their role while respecting the law.
