The Head of State Paul Biya is expected to pay a State visit later this month to China on invitation from the Chinese President Xhi Zhi Ping.

Paul Biya on Tuesday at the Unity Palace received the Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon HE Wei Wen Hua who was bearer of an invitation from the Chinese President.

The Chinese Ambassador disclosed to the visit will hold in the third quarter of March as requested by the Chinese President.

The Head of State will visit China on the sidelines of the 13 National People’s Congress as Paul Biya will be the first foreign dignitory to meet with the new Chinese leadership.

The visit will also be an opportunity for both countries to strengthen existing cooperation ties.
