Travel and business on the Douala to Ndjamina corridor will soon be made easy by means of a rail way.
The information was made public during an audience granted by the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Massena Ngale Bibehe to members of a World Bank delegation lead by the World Bank country Director, Elizabeth Huybens.
During the meeting, the transport boss and his guest discussed on the level of preparatory work on the ground.
They also evaluated the potential risks that the projects may pose as well as the stages of the project development.
After the audience, the World Bank delegation is expected to proceed with a 12 day mission to ensure the effective start of construction work on the rail way lines.
