Although South Korea has been held up as an example of a country that had beaten the coronavirus pandemic, authorities announced last month that the country was in the grip of a second wave of infections. In February, it had the worst number of cases outside of China, but by late April, it had reduced daily new infections to less than 10. Now, South Korea faces this new wave via testing intensively, as FRANCE 24’s team on the ground reports.
