The Wednesday’s edition of Sierra Leonean dailies is dominated by stories on the just concluded presidential elections. The final results were announced by the electoral commission on Tuesday evening and it placed opposition candidate Julius Maada Bio of the Sierra Leone

People’s Party on top.

The NEC announced March 27 as the date for a run-off between Bio and his closest challenger, Samura Kamara of the incumbent All People’s Congress (APC).

This story is captured in the front pages of almost all the newspapers. The Night Watch carries it as a lead and in the form of a question, under the banner headline: ‘Will Sierra Leoneans vote APC again?’  The story goes with the photos of the two frontrunners.
