Radio France International, RFI has deplored violence exerted  by the Cameroonian police on their correspondent, Polycarpe Essomba  who equally works for  Nouvelle Expression  during Tuesday September 22 protest march organized by the Cameroon Renaissance Movement CRM .

According to the French media, Polycarpe was arrested and molested by elements of the security forces   as he tried to cover the protest.

He was reportedly taken to a police station in Yaounde Centre region where he was held for several hours and later on released.
