Hundreds of  residents have taken to the streets of Ebolowa after a police officer beat a hawker to death in the city on Wednesday.

The hawker, Victor Obam Ndimi reportedly had an argument with the police officer who beat him up before he was later found dead. Residents took to the streets to demand the head of the police officer as they claimed he wilfully committed the act.
