A knife-wielding man who may have been influenced by a radical Islamic group wounded Indonesia’s security minister, a local police chief and another person in a western province on Thursday, police said. National police spokesman Dedi Prasetyo said security minister Wiranto was stabbed in the abdomen in the attack in Banten province, where authorities say Muslim militants have a presence.
