The President of the National Communication Council, Peter Essoka, has made public a press release calling on journalists to be professional in their write ups.

The release is in reaction to media coverage following the march called by the leader of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) on Saturday January 26, 2019 in some Cameroonian cities, and unfortunate repercussions that followed in Cameroon as in some of our diplomatic missions abroad.
Indicated that the Government of the Republic, informed all professionals media about the truth of the facts through official procedures.

He however regretted that the National Communication Council has observed that some press continues, without foundation, spread opinion contrary to the governmental position, thereby, maintaining confusion in the public opinion.
