Canon of Yaounde closed the gap on PWD Bamenda at the top of the MTN Elite II standings after defeating National Polytechnic of Bamenda by two goals to zero.

Canon are now just four points away from PWD who finished the first phase of the competition as leaders and will be hoping to continue their on that footing as they bid to return to the top flight.
