The National Institute of Youths and Sports, INJS currently tops the unofficial medal chart at the University Games currently taking place in Maroua.

According to the medal table released by the National Federation for University Sports, FENASU, the INJS tops the medal chart with 21medals, 13 in gold and they are closely followed by the University of Douala with 26 medals, but just six in bronze. The University of Bamenda and Buea are tied on eight medals each with the institution from Bamenda picking up a gold.
