The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are one foot into the semi final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after thrashing Congo five nil on Wednesday in the first leg qualifier game.
Therese Abena opened the scoring for Cameroon just two minutes into the game before Nchout Ajara doubled the scores at the 28th minute. Ngono Manie gave Cameroon a three-goal lead at the hald hour mark which they took to the dressing room. Grack Ngock Yango added a fourth from the penalty spot on 58 minutes before Aboudi Onguene rounded off the scoring at the 64th minute to give Cameroon a five-nil first leg lead with the second leg to come in Yaounde on Saturday.
