The French Ambassador to Cameroon, Gilles Thibaut has told his fellow country men to avoid the two-English speaking regions of Cameroon due to the escalating violence in the region.

In a cryptic tweet Gilles Thibaut mapped out the troubled regions in Cameroon including the northern regions where Boko Haram threats persist. He however warned French nationals to contact the embassy for precautionary measures if they must travel to any of such regions.
