Cameroonian singer Daphne Njie was at the weekend crowned best female artist for the Central African sub region during the Afrima awards held in Ghana.

Amongst the 16 Cameroonian artists nominated for the various categories, she was the only one to bring home an award in her category with her hit song “Jusqu’à la gare”.
