The SDF petition calling for annulment of the senatorial election in the South West Region rejected by the constitutional council.

The Council said Njenje Valentine Kleber; a municipal Councillor does not qualify to file a petition as stipulated by law.

According to the Constitutional Council, a petitioner must be: -a candidate, belong to a political party and be a state official.

The CDU petition was equally rejected.
