The Director General of the Cameroon Railway Corporation? CAMRAIL, has been sacked alongside the corporation’s board chairman. Both officials were replaced today after a board meeting of the company which took place in Yaounde.

They were sacked less than one month after results of an investigation into a rail accident that claimed closed to 100 lives last year, showed the corporation was the main defaulter to be held responsible for the deadly incident.
