Joseph Kadji Defosso is said to have died on the night of Wednesday, August 22, 2018 due to illness at the age of 95 years.
Going by reports, Kadji has been sick for several years. After making a fortune in the brewery and other activities, Kadji Defosso, father of a large family, went into politics, becoming in 2002 until his death, Mayor of the Council of Bana, his hometown.
Joseph Kadji Defosso, one of Africa’s greatest industrialists, is the founder of the Cameroonian Union of Breweries (UCB), the leading brewery in Cameroon.
