The city of Limbe, last week was also hit by two fire incidents with parts of the finance department at the Limbe II Council razed by fire on Thursday, May 28.

The fire was immediately put out be residents of the Mukundange neighbourhood before it could continue to other parts of the building.

The Limbe II Council said the fire had destroyed some office equipment like computers, printers and other financial documents.

The fire at the Limbe II Council came just days after another fire incident at the Divisional Delegation of Agriculture and Rural Development. The fire whose cause is unknown consumed a significant part of the building, equally destroying documents before it was finally put out by residents of the Mile II neighbourhood.
