The Head of State Paul Biya has granted audiences to the visiting chairperson of the African Union, Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Hon. Patricia Scotland, and the Secretary General of La Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo who are on a 48-hour joint mission to Cameroon at his invitation.

Speaking to the press after their one hour audience with President Biya at the Unity Palace, the three August guests re-echored tripatite resolve to support Cameroon in its peace and reconciliation process.

They equally told reporters Cameroonians had their roles to play towards the restoration of peace in the country.
