The Incident System Manager at the Douala International Airport who equally doubles as the Senior Divisional Officer for the Wouri Division, Benjamin Mboutou has visited the airport this Monday ahead of an imminent reopening of Cameroon’s air borders.
The SDO led a team that evaluated the different services at the airport to ensure that the measures put in place to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic are effective.
It follows Gov’t’s instructions that flights nationwide resume this Monday.
It is worth mentioning that Cameroon’s first COVID-19 case was reported in March 6, a French citizen who imported it into the country.
