United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees in Cameroon, Olivier Guillume Beer has condemned the suicide bomb attack perpetrated on civilians in Koyape, a locality in the Far North region hosting internally displaced persons.
The suicide bomber activated the explosive Tuesday September 1st, killing at least seven civilians and injuring fourteen others.
In a release issued on Wednesday September 2nd, the representative of the UNHCR said the killing of innocent civilians has to stop, and called on armed groups to respect the rights and lives of civilian populations.
