The United Nation’s resident Coordinator in Cameroon, Allegra Baiocchi was today received in audience by the Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi.

During the, Allegra Baiocchi presented action plan in line with a UN project to fight against hate speech and sensitise the public on the impact of the phenomenun on the country’s response plan to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking at the end of the audience, the UN resident Coordinator said hate speech and fake news could negatively affect COVID-19 response, thus a UN priority to fight it.
