The price of a tomato crate for example has increased from FCFA 3000 in the month of June to FCFA 12OOO by the beginning of September.

Weeks after the closure of borders in a bit to reduce the importation of the virus, the prices of tomatoes drastically reduced because of the abundance in markets nationwide.
