President Paul Biya will assume the Presidency of the Heads of States and Governments of the economic and monetary community of Central Africa for the next two years.

This is one of the key resolutions arrived at on Sunday March 24, during the 14th ordinary summit of CEMAC in Djamena, Tchad.

Opening the summit, Idriss Derby Itno, Chadian President urged African head of States to work together for the return of normalcy in the two English speaking regions of Cameroon.
