Elements of the Kekem Gendarmerie in the West region of Cameroon have apprehended three presumed bandits suspected of having murdered a young woman last May 27.

According to police commissioner Etienne Nicolas Mehamle, Geordan Fotsing,Loic Kouanga and Idriss Kamgoe tried to seize the handbag of a young woman, Leira Tchuinang aged 23 last May 27.

They are said to have stabbed her to death after she resisted.
