The bodies of three persons from the same family was discovered in a residence in Zouatoupsi, some few kilometres from Mbankomo, a town situated in the Mefou and Akono Division, Centre region of Cameroon Friday October 2, 2020.

The victims, Agathe Ngah Owona, Louise Blandine Amougou and Mballa aged 60, 30 and 6 respectively are reported to have inhaled gas emanating from the generator that was on in one of the rooms in the house.

The bodies were discovered by the son of one of the victims, Agathe Ngah early that Friday October 2 before he alerted elements of the fire fighting brigade.
