Sporadic gunshots were reported in Kumba, Meme Division in the South West Region on Sunday morning as voters prepared to go out to vote.

The gunshots have scared residents who have remained indoors since morning but timid voting has started in some parts of the city as the atmosphere remains tense.The lockdown imposed by separatists has paralysed activities for the past days.
