More than 100 under-privileged Muslims in Yaounde have received basic necessities to enable them celebrate the festival of breaking the month-long fast. Each of them went home with a packet containing 5 kilograms of rice, a packet of sugar, vegetable oil and other items. The largesse came from the League of Arabophone Intellectuals of Cameroon. The Zakat is a charitable act done few days to the end of the Islamique month of fasting.
