The reconstruction of the palar bridge in Maroua, Far North region of the country which recently collapsed due to heavy rains and cutting off Maroua from Kousserie will last for 45 days and cost FCFA 100million.

This announcement was made by the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi on September 3 while on an evaluation mission of the consequences of floods in the region.

Minister Nganou Djoumessi equally announced other projects including the reconstruction of the Pont Vert.
