Facemasks donated by Cameroon’s Head of State will be distributed to students of examination classes and higher education close to two weeks after they resumed classes amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

The donation was handed over to representatives of the Ministries in charge of education in the country Tuesday June 9 by the Minister of Territorial Administration Paul Atanga Nji.

130 000 facemasks will be distributed in the domain of higher education, 15 000 masks for pupils of basic education, 5 000 mask for children and 10 000 each for secondary schools and vocational training centres.

The donation from the Head of state comes in to intensive the fight against the spread of the virus in schools.
