Cameroon’s Head of State, Paul Biya has donated the sum of 600 million CFAF to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization dubbed GAVI to help in the eradication of COVID-19 and measles.

The contribution is in line with World Health Organization’s determination to raise the sum of 43 Billion CFAF to finance GAVI’s activities from 2021 to 2025.

News of the donation was made public by the Minister, assistant secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, PAUL Elung Che.
