The President of the Republic, Paul Biya has signed a decree creating a fund to develop and enhance the electricity sector in the country.
The decree was signed Wednesday August 19, 2020.
The fund is placed under the Minister of water and energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba.
It will enable the State to mobilize the necessary financial resources to execute projects to boost the volume of energy supply in the country.
