Members of Parliament will in the days ahead scrutinise a draft piece of legislation to implement the country’s two official languages.

The bill was tabled yesterday at the National Assembly during a plenary sitting of the house chaired by Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.

The draft law which seeks to ensure the equal use of the English and French languages at all levels of society in the country has been sent to the committee on cultural, social and family affairs for scrutiny.
