Cameroon today observes the Africa Public Service Day commemorated this Tuesday with activities focused on the role of public administration in building and maintaining peaceful coexistence between communities.
The day is commemorated annually to recognise the value and virtue of service to the community. It is also a platform to reflect and share practical recommendations on women empowerment in public service nationally and across the continent.
Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, no formal event has been planned in the country.
Reports have it that however, the Minister of Public service and administrative reforms, Joseph Le is expected to address public servants and users through a press statement virtually.
