The Governor of the North West region of Cameroon, Adolphe Lele Lafrique has announced that the region has recorded its firts COVID-19 case.

In a communique made public Monday April 20, Governor Lele Lafrique says the patient arrived the region on April 15 and tested positive early yesterday.

This brings to 9 the number of regions affected in Yaounde.
