Cameroon observed the African standardisation day yesterday with focus on how to combat corruption at boarders and proliferate counterfeit products in the country.

A ceremony to mark this 7th edition observed under the theme “The role of standardisation in winning the fight against corruption, a sustainable Africa’s transformation” was organized in Yaounde and chaired by the Minister of Mines, industries and technological development, Gabriel Dodo Ndoke.

The ceremony was marked by presentations on consequences of counterfeit products on the economy and the contributional standard in the fight against corruption in Africa
