Measures have been taken to ensure new born babies in urban as well as rural areas are issued birth certificates with immediate effect.

This follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Minister of Public Health Manaouda Malachie and the Director of the National Civil Status Registration Office, BUNEC, Alexandre Marie Yono on Tuesday, February 18 in Yaounde.
