Heroes who fought for the independence of Cameroon including Solomon Tandeng Muna have been honored via a monument which was inaugurated in Ekite, in the Edea II sub-division in the littoral region of the country.

The inauguration ceremony which took place on Sunday September 13 was preceded over by the secretary general of the Central committee of the CPDM, Jean Nkuete, personal representative of the Head of State.
